Kim Kyne Cohen is a Los Angeles–based ceramic sculptor, illustrator, and accessories designer. Her work blends a distinct sense of play with themes of religion and sexuality, offering sharp, often humorous commentary on the intersections of cultural and social identity. Cohen frequently uses mischievous gingerbread figures to investigate the human form—stripping away surface differences while hinting at the beauty and tension of incompletion.
Her artwork has been exhibited at the Contemporary Jewish Museum and Craft Contemporary, as well as numerous galleries across Los Angeles and New York. Her work has also been featured in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Forbes and PAPER magazine.
